Competition day is where preparation meets execution. The lifters who perform best aren't always the strongest — they're the best prepared. This guide covers attempt selection strategy, warm-up timing, and the mental framework for hitting lifts on the platform.

Attempt Selection Strategy

Mental Framework — 3 Cues Per Lift

1Setup cue: "Feet set, lats tight, breathe." — Before you pull, lock in your positions. Every lift starts here.
2Pull cue: "Push the floor, stay over the bar." — Drive with legs, keep chest over bar until the power position.
3Catch cue: "Fast elbows, receive it." — Speed under the bar is the difference between making and missing.
