What to Expect

Your first session is a free 60-minute intro to the gym, the methodology, and how we track your training. Here's how it goes.

01 Movement Assessment

We start with a brief movement screen to understand your baseline — mobility, stability, and any existing injury history. No fluff, just what's needed to train you safely and effectively.

02 Goal Alignment

We talk through what you're training for — strength, body composition, sport performance, or general health. Your goal shapes everything: exercise selection, intensity targets, and session structure.

03 Live Velocity Training

You'll train with the velocity tracker on your first session. You'll see your bar speed in real time, learn what your numbers mean, and understand how they guide load selection and readiness.

04 Programming Preview

At the end of the session, Brad walks you through what a block of training looks like for your specific goals — periodization structure, frequency recommendations, and how data feeds into weekly adjustments.

Who Trains In Person at Yeager's Gym

Competitors & Strength Athletes

Powerlifters, weightlifters, and CrossFit or Hyrox athletes who want velocity-guided peaking and programming that's measured, not guessed.

Beginners Who Want It Done Right

New to the barbell or coming back after years away. You're coached through every rep, so loads are never too heavy and progress is never left to chance.

Busy Professionals & Parents

Limited time and zero patience for junk volume. Six compound lifts, tracked and adjusted, so every session you fit in actually moves the needle.

Before Your First Session

Do I need experience to train here?

No. The method scales from first-timers to competitive lifters. Velocity data gives Brad an objective read on your capacity from session one, so the loads always match where you actually are.

How is this different from a regular personal trainer?

Most trainers count reps and guess at the weight. Here, every rep is measured with a velocity sensor, so your program is adjusted to how your body actually performed — not how it looked from across the room.

Is the first session really free?

Yes. Your first 60-minute session is a free intro — movement screen, goal alignment, and live velocity training. No card, no commitment.

How often should I train in person?

Most clients train one to three times per week in person, with the rest of the week programmed for their own gym. Brad builds the schedule around your goals and your training history.
